Role – Sales Development Representative

Location – Udaipur, Rajasthan

About the role

As a key member of the team, a successful sales development representative must be friendly and persuasive. Should have a string command over written and verbal English communication. He must be able to understand the client’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cold call the clients using a given lead list
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective clients
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of company’s products and services
  • Work on obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle our product and service inquiries to provide appropriate solutions to client’s queries and doubts
  • Providing clients with comprehensive product/service consultations and guiding their decision-making process
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Use scripts to provide information about services, plans etc., and present their benefits
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the client’s requirements
  • Persuade the client for next level call with senior members of the team
  • Record the client’s personal information accurately in a computer system
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and appointments and record useful information

Essential qualifications and skills

  • Possession of bachelor’s degree or PG and/or MBA would be a plus
  • Candidate should be ok to work in US hours (India Night) hours
  • Proven experience as tele sales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skill with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-1.5 years of International Voice Process
  • Excellent level of knowledge/expertise with PC, Internet Research and software (Word and Excel)
